Download Free iPod Games and Kill the Boredom!

One of the coolest features of the iPod is the fact that you can download free games! You’ve got music to keep you busy, and you might even have movies to keep you occupied when your boredom gets really out of control, but what happens if you’re tired of all the movies and none of that music suits your fancy for the day? That’s when it’s time to download free iPod games!

The iPod games range from the simple and silly to the slick and sophisticated. The old standards like Solitaire and Pong come standard on most iPods, but there are always other games you can download. Apple offers a boatload of absolutely free iPod games that range from easy to challenging. In addition, many enterprising programmers have created their own games for the iPod, and most of those are offered for free download as well.

The iPod trivia games are always popular. These games allow you to question yourself on anything you can imagine. Since iPod users can easily create their own trivia games, the options for what is out there are absolutely endless. Do you know all there is to know about Egyptian history? What about your favorite television show? How about the history of your favorite Disney movies? Can you put them in chronological order? These are just a few of the wacky trivia games you can attempt to master on your iPod.

The classic games are called “classic” for a reason. They never go out of style! Games like Solitaire will keep you busy for hours on end. A classic iPod game is Vortex, and Apple has even offered cheats to help you make the most out of that particular download. Best of all, it’s still free!

There are games that have a cost attached to them, and these tend to be the more complex ones. The Lord of the Rings game, for example, or any version of the popular Star Wars games can cost a few dollars to purchase and download. Often you can get a game for free but have to pay for the upper levels. On the other hand, when you do purchase a game for a small fee, you’re getting a whole world of enjoyment, right there in your iPod, and you don’t have to pay another dime for it.

You can often score the more complex games for free as well, if you know where to look. Often companies will offer promotions that allow you to download a new game and try it out for a while. Promotions can include the upper-level games, the ones that would cost the most, for free – if you are willing to spend a few minutes to complete a survey, or if you agree to let them know what you honestly think of the game they are offering to you. This is a common tactic for video gamers who want to get their product tested by a real-world population before it hits the market for PC and other video game platforms.

You can download free iPod games with just the touch of a button – the ease of that alone is worth a pretty penny, but you don’t have to reach into your wallet, or even get up off your couch! How cool is that?

Property Management Going Mobile: Mobile Websites and Apps “Must-Haves” Now?

I was out to dinner the other night in Uptown Charlotte and saw the typical 21st century young, urban couple. They were dressed stylishly, moved with grace, were good-looking, and barely talked or looked at each other the entire time I saw them at the restaurant. Were they:

A. In a fight?
B. Shy mutes?
C. Engrossed with their mobile phones?

Of course, and sadly, the most probable answer in today’s world is C. I have a difficult time with this! I want to say, “Buddy, wake up! You’re with a good-looking woman; I can’t believe I have to tell you to look up and talk to her, instead of texting your friend, Chuck! What’s wrong with you?”

So, being a grown man, I had to decide whether to cry about this newer phenomenon or accept it. After some internal wrangling, I’m happy to report that my righteous indignation has passed and I’ve accepted this digitally-inspired apathy towards fellow humans as the “new normal”. So what does this consumer love affair with mobile phones mean to property managers?

It means we better get in the game in the mobile realm. Regular websites have worked really well for a while, but change has come again. New renters are going to want to use their smart phones to search for rentals near them (aided by GPS), fill out rental applications, pay application fees, and put down deposits. They want the whole rental process available from their mobile phones.

What specifically does this mean? It means we better have mobile websites that allow them to do this; the mobile websites need to include only succinct information potential renters would want when on the go. It also means we need a mobile application (a custom company “app”) that customers can put on their devices so we own some real estate on their phones. Trends show that home internet connections are on the way of landline phones; the new battleground is the mobile phone. We need to be on as many as possible.

A mobile website is critical when consumers search for property management companies from their smart phones. Will yours come up? If it does, can consumers easily find rental homes, contact you (even text you!), and do everything you want them to do (like they can when you see them in your office or when they are in front of their home computer?)

An app is critical to sealing the relationship with customers. How can they remember you when they are on their mobile phones? Your app (with your company logo) sitting with the rest of the apps they use everyday is a good start. This is a good way to build mindshare and also to make it easy for your customers to contact you and refer you to their friends. Not an apps believer? Apps are set to be a $36B business by 2015- a lot of people use them and will be using them!

Change is hard, but the mobile revolution is not going away. If making a property management company last long term is the goal, mobile websites and apps are now “must-haves”!

How to Look for the Best Android Apps and Games

After purchasing a new Android device, whether it is a tablet or a smartphone, we then turn to the marketplace in search of the best Android games and apps. There are numerous on-line directories available that have very comprehensive lists, some better than others. Generally these lists are divided into sections, for instance, the most popular, the hottest, the top rated, plus there are also lots of reviews to browse through for the best Android games and the best Android apps.

For those who are after Android applications, there are screenshots and quite often short videos illustrating how these apps or games work. These can be found in the arcade and action section and if you are looking for the best Android apps, these can be used for productivity, communication or entertainment purposes. Many other categories are available, from where you can choose applications or games that fulfill your needs.

Of course there are large numbers of new games and apps coming out into the marketplace every day. Some of these are free and for some, there is a small charge. The best Android games or apps can be either, if a game or app is free it does not imply any lesser quality, in many instances the opposite can be true. Most of the free apps have ads displayed and are they are usually unobtrusive, but sometimes, ads can be really annoying by blocking important content from the game or because they are placed in a position where you can touch accidentally.

Almost every Android application list website lets you subscribe to the RSS feed to get the latest updates so you’ll be the first who knows when a new app is available. Each application has a detailed description, from ratings and comments to required system permissions, screenshots or a direct QR bar code or market link for direct downloading from your phone.

As well as finding internet reviews for the best games and apps, quite often we will find out about a game or an app from a friend or colleague. Personal recommendations or reviews are always highly influential. Different groups and ages of people will be interested in different things, but there are enough of the best games and apps out there, to meet everyone’s needs.

If one particular app or game does not suit or does not perform as expected, it’s a simple process, just like programs on a laptop, to delete the game or app from one’s device. Android OS is designed in such ways that require minimal resources on the device, so it is possible to have numerous games and apps running on the one device.
